The technical maintenance of the managed vessels is always in line to the company’s policy for vessels’ safe & secure operation with full adherence to international or local regulations.
Technical Maintenace - Condition Monitoring
A detailed planned maintenance schedule is followed in accordance with ISM requirements, covering all areas of interest onboard i.e. machinery, deck machinery, navigational equipment, life-saving & fire-fighting appliances, condition of living quarters, etc. In addition a detailed scheme is in force for the prevention or management of unforeseen incidents, as well as rectification follow-up planning in order to eliminate any possible defect(s) the soonest possible.
The mentioned monitoring schemes are either implemented through regular reporting by vessel’s command and/or through frequent attendance by the company’s superintendents.
All vessels and company’s certificates, as well as all class / flag / port state control and insurance inspections are followed closely by company’s superintendents. The strong will remains therefore, to keep the vessels fully compliant with all class / flag / port state control requirements.
A root cause
analysis method is always applied pursuant to any inspection remarks as soon as received by any inspectors attending on behalf of third party interests.
