Shipbuilding contract signed for the construction of two new vessels
Athens, Greece – JME Navigation is proud to announce the signing of Shipbuilding Contract No. 23419 for the construction of two Bulk Cariers, with Hull No. 1282 & 1283, between JME Navigation and the combined efforts of Sumec Marine Co., Ltd. and New Dayang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. as the Seller.
This agreement establishes a comprehensive framework governing the construction, inspection, and delivery of the vessel, which will be built to specifications set forth in the contract. The construction will adhere to the highest safety and engineering standards, ensuring compliance with the regulations set by the relevant classification society.
JME Navigation S.A. specializes in marine dry bulk transportation services, facilitating the movement of bulk cargoes across global shipping routes. The company operates a fleet of four vessels: “Marigoula” (Supramax), “Zoitsa Sigala” (Ultramax), “Princess Margo” (Ultramax), and “Mother M” (Handy).
